Time Flies

So Marcus started walking this past Sunday. His cousin Madison basically convinced him to go for it, and he did. It was game on after that:



He had a blast and has been walking fairly regularly ever since. He still chooses to crawl when he wants to move fast. He gets such a thrill out of walking and is clearly (almost) as proud as we are. It's cute.

We have all had a really good Xmas this year, our first with Marcus up and about. We had a little celebration last night with some friends who were definitely in the know about the whole 'cars' thing:



and then opened our gifts this morning - Paco and G'ma Cathy also got in on the 'cars' thing, plus there's a 'frog' thing going on:



We will celebrate again on Saturday with my Mom and Sister's family so there should be more great stuff coming. Those with kids likely know how excited Jen and I are. This has been a very exciting holiday for sure. I have to admit playing the Santa role is fun.
